$BEACH is delighted to announce a partnership with Ananta Sustainables!

Ananta Sustainables is one of the first packaging companies sourcing, supplying solutions for sustainable packaging in Sri Lanka. As well as consulting with leading companies to provide compostable packaging and waste management solutions, Ananta organizes community-based events, finding new and creative ways to spark conversation and create awareness of single-use plastic consumption; from Trash Sculptures, to ‘Plogging’ Races and workshops and community forums.

As a part of their model, this social enterprise trains and empowers marginalized communities to become independent suppliers within their supply chain. They also work with local, rural producers to create packaging from local plant-based materials, that push the bounds of locally produced packaging from sustainable to regenerative.

In its attempt to empower communities to address the waste crisis caused by single use-plastic, Ananta runs a plastic collection program with local fishing communities which $BEACH is proud to be sponsoring.
